This page gives details of the professional fees charged by Grow Communication (as an experienced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist fully registered with the relevant professional bodies (HCPC, RCSLT and ASLTIP)).
The best thing is to give a call to chat. Every client and circumstance is individual and we will always do my best to accommodate and find a way to reach the best outcome for all :). If we feel able to support we will let you know – otherwise we can signpost you to other sources of support.
Fees include the planning, preparation, analysis and evaluation of sessions and therapy materials required.
The current fees for Speech and Language Therapy sessions are as follows:
|Initial discussions (phone calls/emails) to identify and agree supports||Free of charge|
|Initial Assessment (minimum 1 hour) includes cost of assessment record sheets, brief summary report and initial strategies/advice & phonecalls||£100|
|1:1 therapy session/ observation/ review minutes (includes all materials)||£70 to £90 per hour|
|Multidisciplinary diagnostic assessments||Tailored package.|
|Detailed report writing||£70 to £90 per hour|
|Mileage (see map):||Travel costs at 45p per mile.||For longer journeys travel time may be charged.||All mileage costs would be discussed and agreed in advance.|
I will discuss your requirements with you in advance and provide you with a copy of my Fees, Terms and Conditions document beforehand.
An Autism Pre-assessment is £260 and involves a a lengthy initial appointment (between 2 and 3 hours typically) and then a detailed feedback report with recommended next steps. If you then proceed with a full diagnostic assessment then the cost of the pre assessment is taken off the full cost.
After the initial assessment I will give you an idea of how many sessions will be required. However, its not always easy to predict how many sessions of therapy will be required. If longer-term support is necessary a specific number of therapy sessions with be agreed – and we will review it together on a regular basis.
In some cases, group therapy sessions may be appropriate and fees for these will be agreed depending on the nature of the group and the number of clients taking part.
